Settings: Color and Image

Hex Codes

When designing a sign at squaresigns.com, you will notice the absence of a color wheel or other familiar selection tools. For the purpose of printing, we use hex numbers to represent the available colors for making your custom sign. These numbers are also frequently used in various computing tasks for color representation. Each hex code is comprised of a six-digit code that equates to decimal numbers for Red, Green and Blue (RGB). If you are unfamiliar with hex codes, you can use our helpful converter tool to find the proper hex code for the color you need.

Image Settings

Adding an image to your design is the perfect way to personalize your design. Using an image can really catch the eyes of those looking at your sign. If you have a custom image you’d like to add to your design, it’s important to make sure that your image is of the proper resolution and quality.

Images should be at least 300 DPI. DPI is an acronym for Dots Per Inch. The higher the number, the better the quality of the image and of course, your sign. Always upload the highest quality image that you have available. After you have made sure that the DPI is high enough, you can then upload your image to our design tool.
